Talemoon is designed for children and families. We take children’s privacy seriously and design our app with COPPA and applicable children’s privacy requirements in mind.
Talemoon does not display third-party advertising, does not sell personal data, and does not use children’s data for behavioral advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking.
1. Information We Process
We only process the limited information needed to provide the story experience.
Story Details
Parents may provide story themes, preferences, and an optional character name or nickname to personalize a story. We recommend not using a child’s full real name.
Story details are used only to generate and display the requested story experience. They are not used for advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking.
Technical and Diagnostic Information
We may process limited technical information necessary for app functionality, security, troubleshooting, and crash prevention. We do not use this information to track children across apps or websites, and we do not share device information with third parties for advertising, analytics, or profiling.
2. Children’s Privacy and Parent Controls
Talemoon is intended to be used by parents or with parental involvement.
- We do not ask children to provide full names, physical addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, precise location, or other sensitive personal information.
- Areas of the app that may lead to purchases, external links, permission requests, or settings are protected by a parent gate designed to require adult involvement.
3. Use of Artificial Intelligence
Talemoon uses AI to generate stories based on the story details provided by the parent.
- Story prompts may be processed by our AI service providers only to generate the requested story. We do not send full names, contact information, precise location, advertising identifiers, account identifiers, or device information in these prompts.
- Our AI service providers are required to process data securely and are not permitted to use story prompts for advertising, profiling, or public AI model training. Parents should not include sensitive personal information in story prompts.
4. No Advertising or Data Selling
Talemoon is an ad-free experience. We do not display third-party advertisements, use third-party analytics for children, or sell personal data or children’s data.
5. Purchases
Talemoon may offer optional in-app purchases or subscriptions. Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store, and purchase areas are protected by a parent gate where required. We do not receive or store full payment card information.
6. Parental Rights
Parents may contact us to:
- Ask what information has been processed.
- Request deletion of story-related data.
- Refuse further processing of story details.

7. Data Retention and Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data during transmission and storage. We retain story-related data only for as long as necessary to provide the service, support user-requested features, comply with legal obligations, resolve technical issues, or until a parent requests deletion.
